Many people forget the importance of hydrating their bodies.  Drinking liquids is important because it transports the nutrients to the working muscles.  Also, fluids help eliminate metabolic waste products from the body.

The best way to know if you are drinking enough water or other liquids is to check the color of you urine.  Every time you empty your bladder the urine should be clear.  Infrequent urge to urinate, or cloudy or yellow urine are signs that you should consume more liquid.
